2023 Plantagenet 'York' Chardonnay

Pale straw colouring. A complex nose, ripe peach and nectarine, a pronounced cashew note, hints of slatey minerality. Combination of vibrant fruit sweetness, with layers of complexity borne by the winemaking techniques employed, a creaminess due to partial malo treatment, and structured acidity that provides balance and length of flavour. 2020 Plantagenet 'Lancaster' Shiraz

Deep Maroon in colour, with blue fruits, some spice, and a hint of black pepper on the nose, this wine is well integrated to form a dark, brooding intensity. It is a powerful and structured wine from a warmer Great Southern vintage with a densely fruited mid-palate, layered mouth-filling tannins, and structure to match. It will develop impressively over time.
