LUXURY
2020 Wyjup Collection Shiraz
Fruit parcels selected from the Bouverie vineyard.
Blue fruits, spice, and a hint of black pepper are well integrated to form a dark brooding intensity. A powerful and structured wine from a warmer Great Southern vintage with densely fruited mid-palate, layered mouth-filling tannins, and structure to match. It will develop impressively over time.
Pair with a crackled pork belly with roast fennel, potatoes and a rich gravy.
Limited and Exclusive. This wine has a cellaring potential of 10-15 years. 1600 Bottles Made.

95 points - "This was a year that produced fruit and wines of tremendous power and richness. The rich stewed fruit characters on the nose capture the vintage. It’s a combination of Wyjup and Bouverie vineyard fruit and shows a dominant blue fruit and red fruit character on the nose. Soft and supple with a seamless smooth and almost velvety palate with traces of ironstone. Has excellent depth and fruit concentration. Dry chalky ripe tannins yet they are perfectly integrated. Effortless and lingering through its finish." - Ray Jordan Wine
94 points - "A dark, inky, brooding shiraz lavished with ripe plum, liquorice, saltbush, meat drippings and clove/cedar wood seasoning. Scents and flavours repeat similarly, with bold aromas followed by pronounced and distinct flavours. Soft texture, supple tannins." - Mike Bennie, Wine Companion
