Aromas of ripe berry fruit jump from the glass with hints of dark chocolate and savoury spice. The palate is medium-bodied with dark plum, hints of blueberry and a savoury, earthy tone supported by subtle integrated oak.

The name 'Hazard Hill' originates from one of Plantagenet's pioneer vineyards which contained massive subsurface ironstone and granite boulders. These were painstakingly crushed into pea-size gravel and incorporated into the sandy loam soils to provide the ideal conditions to grow vines for quality wine production.
